Environment information RIG OILFIELD SERVICE LLC performs activities with significant environmental impact which are regulated in terms of environmental protection, implemented by the environmental management system. This development involve oil and gas extraction service activities, repair and maintenance of ships and boats and road transport of dangerous goods. Enviromental information is progressively made available and disseminated to the public in order to achieve a correct information. In order to achieve its purpose, the use of electronic technology and computer telecommunications is especially promoting. This application provides right of access to environmental information held by RIG OILFIELD SERVICE LLC about the consequences of activities on the environment. State of environmental elements The air and atmosphere, water, soil, surface land, landsape and natural areas including wetlands, marine and costal, biological diversity and its componens and the interaction of these elements, were not affected as a result of the activities. Environmental factors: Substances and preparations used Effective control and supervision of dangerous chemical substances and preparations regime, to protect human health and the environment from negative action of hazardous chemical substances and preparations, underlies activities involving dangerous substances and preparations. The principles underlying these activities are: - precautionary principle in management of dangerous chemicals and chemical preparations, to prevent damage to the human health and the environment; - principle of transparency for consumers, ensuring access to information on adverse effects that may generate hazardous chemical substances and preparations; - principle of safe operations management for hazardous chemical substances and preparations. Energy Utility consumption is monitored constantly. Management of these inputs include , without limitation, natural gas, electricity, water, fossil fuels. Specific analysis and recommandations are performed, measures are taken to reduce consumption according to the development of activities safely, without affecting the final quality of service. Waste management Waste is collected in specialized containers which are visible, legible and durable burned, temporarily stored selectively on categories of waste in covered areas and delivered to authorized economic agents, as required by law. Waste transport is performed by third parties on contractual basis. RIG OILFIELD SERVICE LLC does not remove waste. Appropriate measures are taken to ensure continuous clean inside and around objectives. Waste management reports are annually sent to the local environmental protection agencies, until 31 January of the next year, for preceding calendar year of operation. These reports include required data for all waste generated. Administrative measures: Policy in the field of environmental protection. Is implemented and forms the foundation of the Integrated Management System being known and applied with appropiate procedures for each activity or organizational structures by all staff within the organization. The policy is displayed in public places in the company and is published on the company website, so that it is always available to interested parties. Legislation. Activities are running in accordance with provisions normative acts which are consistent with EU standards by the provisions of appropiate directives, reported to the specific activity. Implementation of legislation, standards and internal procedures regarding environmental protection takes place at all levels of organization. Knowledge checking is reflected in training reports. Plans, programs, conventions concluded on enviromental objectives In order not to affect state of environmental elements and factors, appropriate facilities are provided, plans for intervention in case of accidental pollution are developed, absorbent and neutralization products are provided, and intervention is performed according to transported and used products data sheets and intervention plan in case of accidents. Where the work is at beneficiary, conventions on environmental protection are concluded. Compliance with legislation Checking compliance with the provisions of the legislation is made by the competent environmental protection authorities; Checking compliance with the requirements of the Environmental Management System is done periodically by the certification body; Checking compliance with contractual requirements of the beneficiaries is done by second or third party audits.
